INVERTER COMPATIBILITY LIST
Compatibility details and the communication standard used for compatible inverters are provided below. All inverters, when set with proper voltage and current setpoints for charge and discharge, may be used with Rolls S48-100LFP STACK-LV batteries. This list refers to inverters capable of reading battery data over CAN bus or RS-485 from connected batteries for critical information such as charge and discharge setpoints. Note: Closed loop communication is essential for long-term performance and is a requirement of product registration and the extended warranty offered on the S48-100LFP STACK-LV model.
INFORMATION DISPLAY VARIATIONS
Interpretation of the information provided by the BMS will varying by inverter manufacturer make/model. For example, some inverters will differentiate alarms at the cell group level, and others will treat alarms on the system level. In some cases, the inverter may not read alarm reporting. Some inverters may vary in specificity of reporting. For example, 0 Ah, 0.0Ah, or 0.00Ah may be used. Inverters often use overlapping standard protocols to ease support and compatibility. As a result, you may get much of the information your inverter is looking for before specifying inverter protocol. Refer to the inverter manufacturer’s support or contact Rolls Battery Technical Support for more details as an unlisted inverter may use a standard protocol as well.
